About Kirtley Cameron Design

Kirtley Cameron Design is a full service architecture firm based in Bedford, New York.  Projects are predominantly residential architecture in the northeast and range from historic preservation and restoration to new construction – often combining the old and the new.  

Kirtley also has extensive experience with educational facilities, campus master planning and institutional construction. This includes significant completed and ongoing capital projects at the middle school, boarding school and collegiate levels, as well as clubs and non-profit commercial space. She is currently a Trustee and the Chair of Facilities Committees at Middlebury College in Vermont and St. George’s School in Newport, RI.  She also serves on the Board of Governors of the Bedford Golf and Tennis Club, and the Advisory Board of Bedford 2030.

Kirtley graduated from Middlebury College in 1995 with a double major in Art History and Political Science, and worked in PR and marketing at Sotheby's New York and London for seven years prior to dedicating herself to architecture and design full time.  She earned her Masters in Architecture from Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation in 2005 and is licensed in New York and Connecticut.  She lives in Bedford, NY, with her husband Seth, and their three daughters.
